Friends of Riverhouse – Chair Kellie Scott

Who are the Friends of Riverhouse Barn?
The Friends of Riverhouse Barn, a charity registered with the Charity Commission, was formed in 1986 to facilitate, further and support the integral aims and objectives of Riverhouse Barn as a community arts and education centre.

What do we do?
Through our management committee, the Friends provide direct support and involvement through event organisation, community focused outreach and fundraising initiatives and volunteering efforts. All of which supports the Riverhouse Barn in remaining a community centre run by the community for the community.
The Riverhouse Barn has an ambitious strategic vison from sustainable green spaces to expansion of our live events, exhibitions and workshops. The support of the Friends is integral to Riverhouse meeting that strategic vision especially in light of escalating running costs.

How can you get involved?
It’s easy to become a Friend and support Riverhouse. As a Friend, you will receive advance information (via our brochure) on performances, exhibitions and classes. However, and more importantly, as a Friend, you will meet new people, discover new experiences and actively contribute to our wonderful Riverhouse Barn community.

It is easy to become a Friend and support your local community arts centre, so please consider it. You can download the application form here. Our excellent arts programme in a unique setting awaits you!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kellie Scott, our Chair of the Friends at kapscott20003@gmail.com.
