So we had our first Sustainability Fair on January 11 2020, seeing in a positive new decade.
The turnout was amazing, with stall holders, information, talks and workshops throughout the day.
Visitors could do a bit of everything – from sitting in a brand new Tesla, to finding out what do do with your potato peelings. People shared new initiatives, like the Elmbridge Eco Hub which is planned for the centre of Walton – a new forum for people to find out about and get involved in making sure that Elmbridge takes on its carbon responsibilities – workshops in natural dyeing techniques, home made cleaning products, signing up to join Litter Pickers in your area, or swapping clothes in the Molesey Clothing Exchange.
